CAMPAIGN MANAGER for Animal Friends Jogja

Location: Yogyakarta || 6 working days (9 to 5 with flexy time*)
Type: 1-year contract (with a chance to become permanent)

ROLE: 
This role will contribute by leading, planning, communicating, coordinating, and successfully implementing AFJ campaigns. This is a high-profile post that demands a skilled and innovative campaign professional, capable of inspiring teammates and key stakeholders alike in support of the campaigns. The post holder will also be required to lead campaigns on general issues of animal welfare. 
 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Proactive in PDEM (Planning, Designing, Executing and Managing) AFJ’s active campaigns in collaboration with the Program Manager 

  • Establishing cooperative relationships with the government and related institutions/parties associated with AFJ’s active campaigns collaborating with the Program Manager

  • Representing the organization in outreach activities associated with AFJ’s active campaigns

  • Conduct both online and fieldwork research to find campaign data supporters and/or AFJ’s work plans, including investigations plans and executions.

  • Creating correspondence and documents required for cooperation or relationship with related institutions.

  • Creating campaigns report regularly and in a timely manner

  • Input campaign progress on AFJ’s website and ensure that all activities related to campaign programs are recorded in the activity reports.

  • Documenting and creating a monthly report that is easy to read and transparent to be sent to all AFJ founders at the end of each month via e-mail.

  • Work closely with the Program Manager and Social Media Manager to create and distribute press releases via e-mail, WhatsApp, and email marketing tools.

  • Receive information on all AFJ’s activities and process it into activities reports. 

  • Other duties as assigned by founders.

 

We are looking for someone with this skillset and mindset:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication is preferred

  • Several years’ related job experience may be strongly preferred

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills. Good organizational and delegation skills

  • Passionate with the job and has an understanding of working in/with NGOs or charitable organizations

  • Excellent time and task management 

  • Be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional project management and communication skills are essential.

  • The ability to successfully manage multiple campaigns running at the same time.

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English is a must

  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive work and data as required to other staff, volunteers, and outside parties (the public).

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER for Animal Friends Jogja

ROLE: 
This role is in charge of representing the organization across social channels as the sole voice of the brand in the digital world. It responds to comments, compiles campaigns, and create content. This expert provides the organization with the guidance needed to enhance their online presence.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementing, managing and monitoring organization’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness and online reputation

  • Make a digital campaign sprint plan with Campaign Managers

  • Make monthly EP (editorial Plan) for social media and blog post

  • Post, monitor, and day-to-day community management of Animal Friends Jogja's social networks (including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)  

  • Produce weekly web blog content (writing)

  • Engage followers and potential supporters in positive, thoughtful online conversations about the organization, our campaigns, web stories, events, and videos

  • Make promotional plan and strategy (insights into paid advertising, organic traffic, and influencers)

  • Create and publish a monthly newsletter for AFJ supporters and donors

  • Create animals’ persona for adoptable animals alongside Adoption Managers

  • Track and report weekly on metrics and impact of social platforms. KPI performance examples are: audience growth, engagement, user feedback, traffic, and conversion rate (if any)

  • Work internally across the organization to foster a collaborative culture and an integrated, cohesive social media strategy

  • Assist internal staff and volunteers 1:1 in best utilizing the social media properties they manage

  • Other duties as assigned by founders and Managers

 

We are looking for someone with this skillset and mindset:

  • Able to work individually and fit as a team player

  • Passionate with the job and latest trend on social channels

  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of the different usage of social media platforms

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent in time and task management

  • Exceptional copywriting or content writing skill 

  • Able to switch between the creative and analytical side of the job

  • Proactively supporting other divisions work in order to reach the same goals

  • ABL (Always Be Learning)

  • Familiar with media and marketing management tools

  • Able to use similar apps like Canva to backup graphic designers work

  • SEO and Fundraising experience are plus points

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English is a must
